Dr. Gallagher sees a wide range of patients, from 1 week old babies to those in their nineties! In addition to treating adult patients, Dr. Gallagher sees infant patients who might have trouble breastfeeding and pediatric patients for a number of issues, from sports injuries to chronic ear infections. His approach doesn't involve any popping or cracking, but is rather a gentle treatment of the patient's neuromusculoskeletal system.
You and Dr. Gallagher will decide the frequency of your visits at the end of your first session. While the frequency of patient appointments varies from bi-weekly to once a month, or even quarterly, our goal is to get you out of our office and back to a healthy and pain-free life!
Dr. Gallagher is a board-certified osteopathic physician, or a DO, who specializes in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT).
DOs and MDs are equally trained and follow the most recent guidelines for disease prevention and treatment. Instead of focusing on diagnosing and treating one part of the body, DOs who specialize in OMT tend to see the body as an integrated whole and treat health issues accordingly.
Our office is located at 80 Mill River Street, Suite 2400-C, in Stamford, CT. We are conveniently located in Downtown Stamford near Stamford Hospital.
Dr. Gallagher does not participate in-network with any insurance plan. We provide patients with a detailed superbill which they can submit to insurance for out-of-network benefits and potential reimbursement.
Payment is requested at the time of service; we accept credit card (including FSA/HSA), check, or exact change in cash.
During the academic year, Dr. Gallagher sees patients on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. During the summer, he sees patients five days a week.
